FACILITY:           6 Lane, 25-yards pool with non-turbulent lane lines, automatic starting, and marshalling.  Concession stand will be available.  Spectator seating is limited and no setting up in pool area.  No bags will be allowed in pool spectator area.  Teams will not be allowed to set up outside on the open field, due to construction.  Blankets and chairs will be allowed in the gym area. 

 

ELIGIBILITY:     As per NJSDC Rulebook Section XII-B.  A swimmer may enter a total of 4 events with a maximum of 3 individual events (see paragraph B).  All swimmers much have competed officially in two current season dual meets to be eligible.  Remember we have eight (8) teams; please do not enter swimmers who cannot complete a lap or will be disqualified

 

TEAM ENTRIES:     Team Entries must be submitted electronically via Hy-Tek team or meet manager through email or on a disk.  An electronic list of events will be posted on the meet website along with a free downloadable version of Team Manager Lite for those who do not have Team Manager.  Instructions can be found on our website…. A hard copy of entries and payment must be sent to the meet director by the below deadline.    Each team must supply name of three (3) officials with phone numbers.  Teams will be contacted directly about number of timers needed (appx 6-8 ) after your entries are submitted.  IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH PARTICIPATNG CLUB TO FILL THESE POSITIONS FOR THE DURATION OF THE SESSION.

ENTRY TIMES:  Must include best time in YARDS.  Conversions are acceptable.

 

ENTRY FEES:     $3.00 per individual event.    $10.00 for each relay team.   

                              Entry fees are not refundable.                                            

 

AWARDS:           As per NJSDC Rulebook Section XII-D.     

 

SEEDING AND   Events will be seeded at the meet.  Swimmers must check in with the Clerk of

SCRATCH:          Course for heat assignments as each event is called.  Failure to check in will result in the swimmer being scratched from that event.  Failure to swim after checking in will result in the swimmer being scratched from their next event.

 

RULES:                USA Swimming Rules with NJSDC exceptions apply

 

WAIVER:             In consideration of the acceptance of contestants entries the parents, guardians, and /or coaches of said contestants waive themselves, their heirs and assignees, any and all rights to claims for damages against NJSDC, The North Brunswick High School, North Brunswick Rapids Swim Team, North Brunswick Parks & Rec., or their agents or representatives, for any and all injuries which may be incurred by said contestants of this competition.

 

ADMISSION       The admission fee for all persons 13 & over is $4.00. Ages 12 & under free.  Coaches and officials will be admitted without charge.  Officials, if not pre-registered, must register at the gate.   Programs will be available for $3.00.

CONDUCT:         Coaches and their assistants will be held responsible for the conduct of their swimmers during the meet.  Referee’s whistle will be respected so that each swimmer has an equal opportunity to hear the starting command.
